  • Play off final - Charlie to start

If you were offered this now, would you take it? I'd bite your hand off.

Just listened to Harry's v honest BBC interview and he admits his signings were "massive gambles" - without quite saying it, it is clear he wasn't given more money to spend and was scraping the barrel (not criticising the board for that btw, before I'm jumped on). He also doesn't sound that confident. Yes I know he always plays up the opposition but when he says Leicester are flying, Burnley are really, really good and then talks about Derby and Forest it sounded to me that he is already thinking the play offs are our realistic target, particularly if our injury situation worsens with him admitting that the Phillips injury looks very serious.

I still think we're good enough for an automatic promotion spot.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

According to the table we're in an automatic promotion spot. I'm of the opinion we'll stay there.

Gotta stay ahead of Burnley, Reading and Derby. We won't catch Leicester, I fear.

If we win our game in hand and then beat Leicester when we play them, that brings the gap to only 4 points. I don't think they've won it just yet. I hope

Agreed. Also, surely this winning streak of theirs has to come to an end sooner or later.

a point away at derby means we'll still be in the top 2 next week too. thats a bigger point as any against promotion rivals. we may not have the goals to get the title but we have the squad to fend off the chasing pack
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

Actually, I would say Charlie to come on as sub and score the winner is more realistic! - would be a great day out !

You've forgot to mention Nottingham Forest. I see them as our biggest threat to 2nd place. They've really started to find form, they haven't lost since November, they've only lost 4 games all seaosn and they've got a stronger squad than the likes of Derby and Burnley

                            Same here.

$hit happens of course and last season it happened by the bucket load.

But I expect Harry + coaches + this assorted band of good lads on loans/freebies are going to deliver far more than the pampered overpaid flops that they replaced.

Not easy by a long chalk but my money would be on a top 2 finish.

Like many others, I feel a top two finish and Leicester will drop points.

Long way to go and other teams will suffer injury's to, who will have the better squad?
