It'll work in London. It wouldn't work in a bleak northern outpost!

And anyways, Southampton doubled their capacity and they're not doing too bad.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Exactly - we don't even sell out LR.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

We've done this before. Catchment area of NW London is 1.8m. What is the catchment area of Southampton?

agreed but that 1.8m contain many 'non football' nationalities and these many more attractions in west london on saturday afternoons!

Well, we only need to attract 1% of that lot and we're in business!

we definitely dont need a 40,000 stadium and we never will do .
If you think the atmosphere created at Loftus Rd is bad ,think how its going to be in a half empty ground ,( even if and its a big IF ,we get a couple of thousand more newbies/plastics watching us ,i cant see them improving things ).
Before the match we will all be drinking in our plastic new pubs ,out of plastic glasses ,then going to football in our plastic new stadium surrounded by empty plastic seats or plastic new fans.

But then they're not "proper Rangers" so not welcome....so i suppose that puts me in that category too

Really Facts? Have you done the maths and market research? Youre talking about the world's most popular sport and as Richard says 1% of 1.8m and we're in business which is a very conservative estimate too. I suspect this is more about with Dave's not "proper rangers" comment, deep down.

If we got 35,000 in 74 I'm sure with the ever growing popularity of the game we should be able over time get it back to that level.

Success brings the crowds not a stadium but good facilities help.
