That's how promotion works. You're promoted by your points tally, not because you're better managed.
Yes thank you I do understand the points system. I mean in terms of what they have managed with the resources available. We just lurch from one transfer window of panic buys to another, with no settled team. Sure we are above them now but think we will do exceptionally well to keep up the two points a game ratio from here on in. imho of course.

We've had a reasonably settled team for a while now. Ok, we've lost a few key players throughout the season, but that happens to most clubs. Our squad is considered the strongest in the division, so there's no reason to think we can't continue as we are.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

exactly. when fayed - if he was still owner then - sold us zamora and johnson for however many million, he must have shut the door, counted the money and smiled more broadly than an egyptian carpet salesman who has just suckered a couple of gullible tourists from billericky into paying thousands for some frayed old mat he has been using as bedding for his camels...

we havent spent a penny this window, we have just took advantage of players who we could get on loan, we spent 10mill in the summer transfer window ffs hardly record breaking.

Last season our squad was considered too strong to go down - its all based on reputation, not performance. We have an entirely new strike force which even Harry admits he doesn't have a clue how it will work. The rest of the team that is still with us has scored about 10 goals between them all season. Think some fans are incredibly complacent about the predicament we are in given the players now available. And before you say it yes I do realise we are second, but that is largely living on past glories and Charlie's goals.

Jeez you need to get your anti Harry/depression specs off. So Danny Ings cost them nothing when Eddie Howe bought him in from Bournemouth?, and of course Burnley or anyone else don't deserve
                promotion more than us

You've hit the nail on the head there. Performance, and so far we've outperformed Burnley according to the table.

HR is hardly likely to say the new players are going to bag loads of goals is he? He's hedging his bets.

Some fans are real doom mongers.

You don't mention how fortunate theyve been with injuries this season - 5 or 6 ever-presents. No way they'd be 3rd had they had the amount of injuries we've had to key players. So luck has also played a big part, as is usually the case.

Apart from Burnley this season, as I say.

It won't prove anything stain. It's 50 50 we'll either go on and claim an automatic place or a play off place, or we might miss out altogether, but that doesn't mean anyone deserves it more than us

should have got one of the lads to take out Ings and Vokes, where would they be then, mid table at best.

Don't accept injuries are pure luck. If you have a team of over 30s - many with a very bad history when it comes to fitness - its not exactly bad luck that say Zamora and Johnson have been injured. I'd say it was entirely predictable. And with Charlie's injury, maybe there is an element of bad luck there but if you basically have one fit and able striker at the entire club it is hardly that surprising that at some point in the season he is likely to be injured. Bond admitted even before the injury that we were far too reliant on him. Also its now been fairly well established that different types of training regimes has a big impact on injuries, there is a vast science on all this now. So its bad planning at least as much as bad luck imho.
