to be fair there was some good play today weak link seemed to be BAE not sure whats up with him, Doyle was lively as was Modibo for the short time he was on and placed himself in the right place for the goal. well done Hoilett for his great effort to keep ball ONWARDS AND UPWARDS come on Bournmouth
Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

Agreed. But why didnt we keep up the pressure after Doyle´s goal. IMO, we let them off the hook.

    PS.Hoilett was very good today.

It was at least a lively game if nothing else. Happy with Doyle and Miaga. Looks to be goals in there somewhere. The defence was a bit of a worry though.

I agree. Both poor defending. Somehow more annoyed about the second than the third...

well happy with today......especially that Doyle and Maiga scored on their debuts. Hope all those miserable doubters of these two players from yesterday now know where the goals came from.

Defensively we went brilliant today's but credit to Burnley they are a good team with two very good strikers. The defence won't be coming up against a pairing like that each week.

We shouldn't be happy with it. If you compare the investment in Burnley with ours and you look at the two sides over the two games, it will tell you all you need to know.....

Correction (IMO), Hoilett was excellent for the final 25 mins. Before that (again IMO) he was mediocre. You could see his frustration come out with his reaction to his ball for Maiga's goal. The world was lifted off his shoulders and he had a spring in his step. Us diehards who do the aways generally don't stop supporting the team, which is why I think some of our confidence players perform better away than at home. If only we could be more like we are away as a crowd, at home, I think the performances would be be different (BETTER)!

watched a different game than me. hoilett was poor through out imo. last 25 mins he seen more of the ball and had a lucky break for the goal and got a cple of corners from doing what defenders do-defend....read him like a book half the time. showing that we paid premier league prices for a championship player on this showing.

Gave then two goals but saying that they were the better team. Pleased that we did not cave in. Bennie was a disgrace today.

With you on that bush - thought Hoilett was pony yesterday. Perked up in the last 20 or so and created the goal tbf but all in all rubbish. The bloke just runs into people.

BAE had a bad day at the office. Perhaps because he played on the left which is not his usual position. Harry may bring him back to the right. As for Doyle, he was great in the first half but almost not there in the 2nd half, perhaps he lacks enough fitness? fair play to him. Good contribution from Maiga. However, It is too early to judge Doyle and Maiga from one game. Hope they do the business though. As for Hoilett, he still can do better than this.

Hoilett was awful bar his contribution to the 3rd goal for which only made up for his inability to track their winger who crossed for one of their goals. Losing Phillips and having to put Hoilett on was a killer for me.

Yousefc, BAE is a LB, he only played RB once v Bolton (uncomfortably)
Yesterday, was fine 1st half, but had a nightmare 2nd half, one cost us a goal, two others nearly did as well. So a bad 45 mins only.
