  • ELATION or DEFLATION

I must admit that i have mixed views.

Yes you could argue that Doyle and Maiga could be the real deal but not quite sure how full my glass is at present..

Think i would have preferred say Rhodes and Wickham but i know they would have cost money..

Should we have pushed the boat out to get players of that ilk or will our loan signings shine

    Only time will tell

Not the window I was hoping for but I'm cautiously optimistic.

Yes bakes, me too (to some extent) ..

Only thing is we all know what someone like Rhodes is capable of - similar player to Charlie.

My fear is that our lack of spending this window could come back to haunt us ..

Bake is that your x ray after millwall?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I don't think we can get promotion now with the blow to austin and lack of quality in the midfield, but I think the window done ok for us given the limited options we had.

I don't like a squad full of loan players as you can never build a decent side as its temporary but given the circumstances I think its ok.

If Charlie hadn't have got injured would have been a very different window I think but who knows Bobby might start to repay us after 2 years and Doyle could potentially return to his Reading form now he is back in Hoops :-)

Neither elated or deflated......Hard to judge as new boys have yet to play - open minded would be another option.

We need to not only win home games but we need to beat teams around us, and today we did neither. Having said that the passion/urgency/and desire to get back into this game and get a point against a very
good side says we should be optimistic.
The fans at LR today were superb btw, great support
