  • The Season Starts Here!!

Window has closed, players have come in to hopefully improve us.
And we still have kept BAE.
Krankjar is getting up to fitness now and will offer a lot till the season ends.
In Hoillett and Phillips we still have the Best Wingers in the league by far.
Joey will be back, Nedum is back.
We still have the Best Defence in the League, and this squad can offer so much more than what we have seen so far from them.
It's just up to the Players and Coaching Staff now to work it all out.

I still think we will finish the season as Champions.

Not only that we have a few strikers to select from, one of them will provide us with goals.

We wont give up without a fight!

To be honest mate, I would have loved Rhodes but was never gonna happen in this window.
The loss of Charlie is Huge but we have to get on with it.
I don't give up on my Club, I just hope that the players we pay money to entertain us and pick up wages that we could only dream of do us proud come May.

We just have to get behind the squad and let them get on with it.
If they all have our support, then they can only be to blame.
I ain't gonna be downbeat about being 2nd in the League.

So many didn't fancy our chances this season when the league kicked off, but look
        at us now.
Everyone has a right to voice there opinion, but how can today be any worse than yesterday?
We have strengthened our squad a bit more than our rivals that are competing against us!!

Well, we have what we have.

Whatever our personal opinions as to the quality of the new players, or whether we wanted them or not, they have signed for QPR, so presumably will give it their best shot for the remainder of the season at least. This alone makes them deserving of our full support, until such time as they give us reason not to back them.

Clearly, we have not got a replacement for Charlie who is as good, but apart from Rhodes, I doubt there was one in our division. We should however now be able to start with two decent forwards, (assuming AJ & BZ find fitness and form) and still have a couple on the bench to keep them on their toes.

We haven't wasted millions on rubbish. It may just be that with the determination of the new lads to prove a point and offer some competition, the rest of them will start to pull their fingers out and give us far more entertaining football than the absolute guff we have had to endure for the majority of the season so far, despite still being second.

So, in summary, disappointing in terms of no great quality, but we now have enough depth to the squad for even HR to not be able to complain. And with the right selections, we should still always be able to put out better players than the opposition.

That's about as positive as I can get.

Oh. Is it wrong to have a little laugh about the goings on in West Yorkshire?

            .
Still not convinced he is at full fitness. Questions have to be raised as to why, nearly 6 months into the season , that is the case.

We have made moves in the transfer market which have frightened the opposition fans but left us underwhelmed. Truth is Austin is not replaceable for me, even Rhodes would not bring to the over all team performance what he does, best player in the league for me and his injury may cost us promotion. Never felt so gutted to lose a player to injury since Sir Les.

Rhodes isn't in Austin's Class which maybe why we ain't willing to pay stupid money on him.
I think Barton summed it earlier about how gutted they all are about Charlie's injury.
They know he has worked his butt off every game, a lot of the time alone up top but still given us the goals to put us in this position.
In Charlie's first 4 matches it was frustrating to watch as he worked his socks off but no goals.
but once he got his 1st goal plenty would come after.
Any kid that wants to be a striker should watch Charlie and learn.
There's no laziness, or giving up but will battle till the end!!

The loss is huge, but on paper we have a squad more than capable of getting promotion.
Some just need to try harder than what they have so far.

Its up to the squad now, I think it may be a good wake up call that some have more to offer than what they have shown so far.

I've woke up today a lot more confident for some reason. I just thought to myself it's only the championship at the end of the day. We have a squad with enough quality now to get out of this league. We've brought in 4 strikers and 1 of em surely has goals in em. Hopefully Charlie makes a swift return in a minimum of 6 weeks and it's time for AJ to stand up and be counted.

Agree with most of the posts on here.

It is what it is, we now do have a few options up front which we didn't really have before and although im sure the Leicester's and Burnleys of the division will not be shaking in their boots at our activity in this window we still have enough decent players who if at the top of their game can win matches single handedly.

Lets get behind the boys and give it our best.

                    U R'sssssssssss

Huge day today. Its a big statement but I would say if we win we will go up, not because of a 6 point gap, but because against decent opposition it will prove to the team they cannot only score without Austin but also win.

Like us when he was ruled out the squad must have thought he gets all our goals get a result without him and the confidence will grow

Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
