  • 5 loans per Matchday squad

    Who would you have?

Carroll, Kranjcar and BAE are certainties.

Then there's only 2 spaces left.

Hughes, Doyle, Keane, Maiga (???) and Dellatorre left.

Would be Hughes and Doyle for me.

Maiga will not play tomorrow, not had enough time with the squad etc

    Keane as above

Dellatorre not fit according to H

Wouldn't be the first time i remember we loaned a keeper from Chelsea and couldn't even put him on the bench same thing happened with Marcus Bent i think.

Hughes was a free transfer, wasn't he? Not a loan!

Isn't there something about international loan players not counting (or was that last season?).

Yeah good point here is link http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/31...l-1330112.aspx

Which means Doyle and Maiga for the last two loan spots.

Dellatorre will be in the development squad. He's one for the future, according to Harry. I'm presuming Keane is backup to Johnson, Doyle, Zamora and Maiga

When warnock took over 4 years ago and kept us up he said we had too many loan players and that you could not build a promotion winning team like that. Hope that is wrong this season but it is a concern. obviously we are still hamstrung by cesar, SWP and to a lesser degree traore, Zamora and Johnson. We would not have to loan as many strikers as we havr if you could rely on them two. Looks like the start of how things will be done in the future whatever league we are playing in.

The loaned strikers will rotate in and out of the squad is my guess. Funny as duck that it took a female Spurs fan to point out to you lot that Hughes was a perm signing and not a loan

Dellatorre one for the future? He's on loan so unless he gets games then it's pointless loaning him.
