    Quick breakdown..

    Austin out season

Looking at loan deals as not going to spend big

Doyle and Hughes in on loan

    Eduardo now being linked

    Looking at will keane

Barton ans onohua face late.fitness test

If the above is true my hope for premier.football this year has gone. Play offs at best

Another strange thing about the press conference is that Harry said Dellatorre is a player for the future and then when asked said he was on loan... If he's for the future then why loan him?

Got to be z question mark over Austin's future.

This type of injury has a high risk of recurring and the strapping he has worn since the season started would indicate an existing problem made significantly worse by the latest injury. Just how it appears to me.

            Great news about Jenas

Seriously, Harry looked suicidal. He knows how pear shaped it's all gone.

Sounded like HR has not seen him so has brought him on loan to take a look. "One for the future" suggests he's here so we can see how he does but HR is not expecting him to be thrown right into the first team.

I still think we will be solid and a good team, but look at utd without van persie or Rooney they just ain't the same when you rely on welbeck. We lose Austin and don't replace him with similar quality and we will fall away.
Exactly this for me n all.

It is all true - with regards to Harry looking suicidal - he always sounds and looks like that!

At one stage I think the press officer muttered something to Harry - reckon that he was giving out to much info

If we get Eduardo in then I think together with Doyle, Zamora, AJ - that should be enough to see us through. I don't know enough about Keane ( the lad from Man U) although Harry said that was also close so he should prove good back up. The Brazilian has signed but I would imagine no where near ready for the 1st team

I hope Ned, Joey and Jenas are all fit - together with the Doyle and Hughes additions we will still have a decent squad against burnley

Totally agree mem. Absolutely gutted about Chaz and hope he makes a speedy recovery but were still s strong squad . Not overwhelmed by the additions but I wouldn't be surprised if we've still got an ace up our sleeves . We should never have got ourselves in this position but what's done is done

                          Press Conference 31/01/1914

HR - Deadline Day is a nuisance - we don't need it when we've got such a big game tomorrow' #QPR
We'll need to get a couple of deals done with Austin & Simpson out injured.
We're looking to bring a couple of strikers in on loan if we can - we're not going to spend big money.
The Belfodil deal fell through yesterday. That's dead.
It's a massive game for us and Burnley tomorrow. It's all that matters for us - and we're fully focused on it.
Burnley are a top side in the Championship - their front two are exceptional, a real good pair
It's a really big test for us and we'll need to be at our best to get a result. They're in third on merit
My focus in the next few hours is on getting the lads fully prepared for tomorrow, then we'll focus on Deadline Day
I wouldn't see Spurs recalling Tom Carroll now to be honest.
Jenas is back in contention for tomorrow and we'll assess Joey Barton and Nedum Onuoha this morning
The Champonship is wide open - there's so many teams at the top competing for promotion. It's a real tough league
Aaron Hughes a very experienced player and with the injuries we’ve suffered lately, he’s a fantastic addition.
He’s got pace, excellent positional sense and is a good out-and-out defender.
Redknapp on Dellatorre: "He’s a young player from Brazil, who our scouts have watched and like.
