Well we need cover at the back as we are short so this is a good signing for the club

Anyone confirm that it's a loan and not a free signing? If a free, how long is his contract?
At 34, these are important issues.

By all accounts it`s a loan till this seasons end.

Really hope I'm wrong and they pull a proper replacement out of the bag - but as we know, picking up 20 goal a season strikers for peanuts is hardly likely
It smacks of desperation, a bit like when QPR signed Bent and Priskin.

Wickham, Graham, Vaz Te, Maiga would probably make better options for loan deals.

any attempts to sign a striker from abroad, or even Scotland would need international clearance before being able to play, and with tomorrow's game kicking off at 12:45 it doesn't leave much time. So it looks like Johnson and Zamora being the only available options for tomorrow - going to be a nil scorelinefor QPR then.

Perhaps QPR will park the bus and hope that Phillips or Hoilett can get a breakaway goal.

According to the Offish it's a free transfer with contract 'til end of season

So wages won't be cheap but only for 3-4 months

Well it is desperation?? that's why it smacks of desperation...

Those players obviously aren't available Stan.. Doyle will do a job for us.

Great signing, he'll fit in well
                              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                              And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO
