  • have the club flogged charlie....

...half to death by playing the bloke over and again on his own up front with little or no support in many matches? i bet the 15 goals he has scored for us are the hardest he has worked to get! ive seen games when he has looked focked near the end from the sheer effort he has put in.

His injury has nothing to do with that though pal, just an awkward fall onto his shoulder.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

What's the alternative, don't play him and lose thus throwing away our title chances? Take the risk until January and sign a striker or two and then rest him is surely the better option.

He's doing what he is being paid handsomely to do. If you read any of his interviews he has really been enjoying his football too. Doesn't sound like someone who is being run into the ground. I think any player that is playing week in, week out is sometimes less likely to get injured as they maintain a high level of fitness.

I know where you're coming from though.....

no, but apparently they're considering selling some grass off the pitch.

It's just one of those things. Remember Richard Ord. Anyone can get injured, part and parcel of the sport.

He'll be back within 8 weeks max I reckon. He'll have the op in the next few days and it can't take more than 6 weeks recovery surely.

His attitude has been superb and he won't want to be out of the team. The fact he got up and carried on playing on Tuesday night shows you what his mentality is like. He's a strong, fit lad and has experienced life the hard way until he got his break so he'll be desperate to get back playing.
