And that is another good point...it's not a case of looking through a catalogue and picking one that looks nice, they will have been scouted

Why didn't he play any game for his current?

Not sure why people are being so anti-Dellatorre before he has signed if he ever does sign. I would rather we signed an unknown than somebody we knew was c r a p.

Dave - I think in our situation we cannot rely on one who has played one season in the second level of Portuguese League - approximately same as Scottish Championship. If Charlie gets injured and Dellatorre would be his back up we would most likely be f*cked. But as said I have nothing personal against him if we sign a more proven striker as well.

he shut a lot of people up.
if this guy signs i hope he does the same.
I think everyone does. No ones slagged this geezer off, just people getting well touchy. I don't mind signing these sort of players if we bring in another proven striker. Can't expect to throw him into the deep end, he's only played for Portos B team. Wouldn't of thought it's the greatest standard of football.

I would rather Sam Winnall - 14 goals for Scunthorpe

                or

Clayton Donaldson 1 goals for Brentford (Would be a good shout and well worth a gamble)

So how do all you experts know we are not signing another striker?

I watch Brazilian football and this boy could prove to be a good signing. I've seen him play quite a few times. He did well for Atletico Paranaense last season. He's got a good shot on him. Atletico-PR are not the biggest club in Brazil but they managed to get into South America's version of the Champions League which is quite an achievement. They also managed to get to the final of the Copa do Brasil, so he's been part of a successful team, which is good. Hopefully we can sign him! Fingers crossed

His stats say he's never played a game for Athletico Paranaense?

Not that this really matters but he has 80 rating potential in Fifa.

Just seems pointless in signing a young foreign player who will need time to adapt with different country, language barrier & a totally different league to what he is used to.we need our back up players to be up to speed, cant afford to give him 6months or so to bed in. Surely there has to be better options than this.
