We are in a position to achieve what we set out to at the start of the season and this setback may just make the boys with the dough change their approach with regards to signing a striker. Cannot see Tony Fernandes not spending now as he has backed every manager in every window thus far and tomorrow will be no different. 2 strikers to come one loan and one decent one on a permanent.

I'm always optimistic but now.starting to ask some serious questions about the management of the club. If they've released a statement about Austin being injured without a quality replacement is just poor business.
We needed 1 striker before this come out. We now need at least 2 in 24 hours and ideally a rb.

In a way, I fear we are still amateurs when it comes to management. But personally, I also chose to cling on to the hope that we already have brought a few players in prior to this incident..QPR

[QUOTE=Stocksy1976;1208952]Well said that man. Even our club are not that naive to announce on the eve of transfer deadline. Obviously agreement s are in place and two strikers will be signed tomorrow. If this isnt the case then uncle tone has deep pockets and likes to pay over the odds. I do not see the point of announcing this on the eve of an important 6 pointer all it does is hand the advantage to Burnley.[/QUOTE
