easy one that mate.......i think doing 10 rounds with a german shepherd, with large a steak tied to my balls would be less painful than watching the r's at the moment

Oh well that has cost me £26.40 return for the rescheduled match.

It is still lashing down in pinner, but in my 33 years going to QPR heavy rain has not always meant postponement.

Well I chanced it from Hounslow and after a nightmare journey on the 267 to Hammersmith with the broken umbrella when I got off at the Broadway still soaked and then the 283 to the Smuts had two pints and heard the game was off!! :what:

Still imagine coming from Washington DC and missing a game eh thrn I would have something to whinge about!!

I parked opposite the goldhawk pub, getting away from there to m4 was a total nightmare!!!

I left the Smuts about 7.30 and eventually got to the Isleworth Working Mans Club about 9.40!

Seems all the tubes from Chiswick to Richmond were stopped and most of the buses from Hammersmith diverted to help them out hence I was ####ed getting back for a beer though it only took me just over two hours in the most modern city in the world to travel five miles with a little rain :amazing:

Jesus Christ, over 2 hours without a grog, you must have been at your wits end

looks like us "stay-aways" made the right decision

I think you did make the right decision and I was sorely tempted myself when I stepped ou tof the front door and nearly went home again after getting drenched jyst going to the bus stop
