Like this player but it's all getting a bit boring now.

I'm done with all these drawn out saga's we seem to attract. Does my napper in.

Now ..........why haven't we got the same reaction to this transfer as we have towards the Dellatorre transfer?
His record (which is what we're judging the other player on) is 8 goals in 5 years .....hardly Les Ferdinand-esq is it?...Yet majority on here were having a coronary when it was reported the deal fell through.

For blindingly obvious reasons my guess.

                1. 8 goals in 22 starts for Parma in Serie A last season.
                2. 7.5m transfer to Inter.
                3. This kid from Brazil no-one has ever heard of before.

I ain't never heard of this one....and that's still 8 goals in 5 years, just because you have been transfered for £7.5 mill to Inter don't mean nothing....um 8 in 33 btw

Talk about dragging a deal out. Might as well just stick with Bobby as back up.

Agreed! I for one want the Scot instead. Or Wickham for that matter.

Exactly, why not just make it (relatively) simple and get someone with no language or unfamiliarity issues, instead of this protracted paper chase for an unknown quantity?

Can't say i'm excited about him, hardly a good goal return record, unless Redknapp and the coachign staff can make something of him.

Unless you run the club and every£100000 you pay for an average Brit comes out of your own pocket. Why buy a Ralph Lauren shirt in the UK when you can get the same one for less than half the price in the USA ( you know what I mean : ) )

We paid £12m for Chris Samba. And even more astonishing, we got our money back.
