This is not enough resources. BZ and AJ are toilet as well as completely unable to play 2 games on the spin for us due to being cripples. Hitch is a youngster who may/may not cut it at this level and certainly shouldn't be burdened with our goalscoring needs.

That leaves us with Chas, and if he gets injured (ala xmas) like he couldv'e been last night then we truly are fked.

I don't see where a lot of the AJ negativity is coming from. At the start of the season he was brilliant then got injured. First game back (can't remember who it was against) chased down a loss cause in the corner and put in an awesome cross for Charlie to score. He has had 1-2 average games and he is put in the same category as Zamora. If AJ stays fit he will score goals.

I think the problem with it is that everyone knows Zamora and Johnson are not 100% fit and could go down with injury any game soon, they are too injury prone and unreliable which is why people want a more established player.

I like Hitchcock but its a lot to rest your goal scoring hopes on a youngsters shoulders and wouldn't be fair on him. But I think in certain games like Watford away he certainly should had played.

What's he played? 13 times in 2 seasons? That's not a player to be relied upon unfortunately.

Was a good player in his day, but he's almost 33 and just like BZ I think he's ready for the knackers yard.

Once again you're completely missing the point !

I know its blatantly obvious we rely on Austin for goals but Redknapp wanted to rely on Zamora & Johnson so the buck stops with him he is the one who picked the squad and he didn't think we needed any more strikers in the summer

No striker will guarantee you goals for a start and the majority of the time we play 1 up front so paying more money for a striker who is more than likely to sit on the bench is pointless . We would be better off recalling Taarabt who would create and score goals ( don't want to start a debate about him) but at least he is our player.

We have the squad for 4231 but in order for it to work we need the defence & midfield to be higher up for example we need Needum fit as he is quick so the back 4 can push up further also our problem isn't a striker its a ball carrying midfielder i.e Diakite on form would be a ideal

We easily have squad capable of gaining promotion just that Redknapp needs to use the squad properly

To be fair to Zamora if he plays like he did last night for the rest of the season, he'll come in handy. Just think last night he either smoked some crack or that performance was purely done to try and get a move elsewhere!
