Some of the comments and posters on this board are unbelievable and so ill informed. If he does sign and it's unlikely due to work permit issues he will prove very useful in the Championship. Very good scoring record prior to joining West Ham and the prem is a very different league. All you so called experts come back after a couple of games if he does sign you will be pleasantly surprised.Comment

QPR set to take Maiga on loan from West Ham after Spurs block Jermain Defoe move
WEST HAM could be set to offload Modibo Maiga before the end of the transfer window with the player set to join QPR on loan.
Maiga cost £4.7m when he joined the Hammers from Sochaux in 2012, but is now surplus to requirements at Upton Park.
