We do the same as well to most forwards, all score until they get here.

Have to give them a chance.

Some of the comments and posters on this board are unbelievable and so ill informed. If he does sign and it's unlikely due to work permit issues he will prove very useful in the Championship. Very good scoring record prior to joining West Ham and the prem is a very different league. All you so called experts come back after a couple of games if he does sign you will be pleasantly surprised.

Another 11th hour panic buy who we turned down a couple of weeks ago. To add to all the other desperate - sorry, brilliant, inspired - Jan transfer window signings we already have populating our reserve team and treatment table. We must have about six strikers now - with about five goals this season between them!

                  Years Team Apps† (Gls)†
                  2003 Stade Malien 3 (1)
                  2004–2006 Raja Casablanca 47 (12)
                  2007–2010 Le Mans 88 (15)
                  2010–2012 Sochaux 59 (24)
                  2012– West Ham United 31 (3)
Did poor for west ham but ok before that. Maybe he hated 19th century play. Also got look at whole west ham not many goals scored from all the players. Sam up and over game does not always suit all players

after thinking about it, i will come back now and remain optimistic mate. a good point was raised by someone that it could be big sams tactics that ruined this guy's chances of doing well at west spam. he could be the type of player that likes the ball played along the floor which is what we do well.

                    here is hoping.

but no way is farking doyle a good signing in my eyes.

Yeh but we should all sit round holding hands and praying that our positivity can turn these players into geniuses.

You think these players are the answer?Have.you seen them play this year? Both player work hard but are not goal.scorers.
You think your a better fan or supporter of the club because you want Molly cuddle the carp we have brought in.
                          It's a disaster that's now turning into a bit of a joke.
You tell me which player we brought in you think.will have a.similar.impact.to Austin?

So if all our signings are s##t and we are doomed why do some of you bother going, just save your money or if you have a season ticket I know someone who will buy it off you cheap.

QPR set to take Maiga on loan from West Ham after Spurs block Jermain Defoe move

WEST HAM could be set to offload Modibo Maiga before the end of the transfer window with the player set to join QPR on loan.

Maiga cost £4.7m when he joined the Hammers from Sochaux in 2012, but is now surplus to requirements at Upton Park.
