He gets knocked off the ball way to easily. How does he influence the game? He goes missing then pops up infront of our centre backs.....takes the ball....then passes it back to them or the full back. He doesn't drive forward and can't shoot either. I have to admit if he was a qpr lad, then I'd feel differently....but he isn't. Why are we wasting money developing a player for spurs? And as for keeping it simple.....yes he does try to do that but for me that only works in a quality team with individuals or can influence the game and pick the key pass. We are not at that level.

One swallow doth not a summer make.Don't want him anywhere near the starting 11.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

As for Austin's injury, he looked well uncomfortable after that. Second half down the SA Road side he kept nursing his arm and was holding it when he went down after an aerial challenge. Just pray he is fit for Burnley or we are faaarked. You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Even though he scored Charlie wasn't himself unsurprisingly. Bond says he just couldn't carry on any longer whereas Harry says it was a precaution . Let's hope Harry is right although I would be surprised looking at Charlie's face and the obvious pain he was in

So most of you dont think Carroll gave the ball a lot there was so much moaning around me he done at least 10 or so times, he wasn't the only one, also lost count of the times Henry got caught on the ball 2nd half ,I agree he (Carroll) dosen't drive the team forward reminds me of Joe Allen sideways and backwards not positve enough. Also bottled out of about 3 challenges when he should've won the ball. also agree I thought B.Z .did ok played a couple of nice balls that nearly created goals, maybe we should now get behind the guy, we may need him at the moment? no point getting on his back, althought I hope we get rid of him.
Please God let Charlie be ok for Saturday!!!!!!

Charlie scores more goals for us, than any other player currently in the side.
His loss would be huge for us, there's no getting away from it.
We need to pull out all the stops to get a proven striker at this level in.
Yes, he would cost an awful lot, but Jordan Rhodes ticks all the boxes, and when weighing up the cost of buying him, against the rewards that promotion to the premiership would bring to the club, it is, for me at least, a no-brainer.
