I'll bet you any money you like he's one of the most cosistant penalty scorers at the club, so he'd still be our main pen taker. I also believe he's one of very few who will always give it 100% and very effectfully. He is a good passer of the ball and can score from long range. Never shy of getting stuck in and does exactly what the team needs. I'll wager that if players like Buzz could chose someone to opperate next to, Rowly would be very high on their list.

How many does he really score from long range? A cracker versus Wolves last season is all I can remember. Although in fairness he did miss 3 months with an injury. What other long rangers has he scored, say from the last 3 seasons?

Morris I agree with you.
No place in the side for Rowlands.
I would have watson and Buzz in the middle but I want to play 2 upfront.
Now that helguson has left I can't see who can play upfront with Simpson so I would stick buzz just behind simpson. Rowlands or Fraulin is a tricky one as Rowlands does give a commited performance so I may start him.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I think they'd work very well together, and should be given the time to form a CM partnership.
I wont hold my breath on that though.

Both too offensive. If Watson goes forward Buszaky will not sit back and cover.
If they are to play together in CM a holding player has to be used as otherwise teams will run straight through the middle of our team.
They can only play together in a 4-5-1 formation.15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.

Back to my point, Rowlands is always deserved of a place in the team. His all-round game is needed as are his leadership skills. As contradictive as it seems, Rowlands is our 3rd best CM option behind Buzz and Watson, but I feel either one of the latter mentioned would work better with Rowlands than with one another as Rowlands will allow them to get on with the forward duties.Your mum would love me...

Watson can defend and get back he proved that on saturday but if we were playing a holding midfielder their player wouldn't have got that far.
I would have Rowlands in the team playing DM whenever he is available behind those two.15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.

Put it this way, if it works tonight maybe he has found his winning team?
