This is very true.Adel must have lost or gave the ball away at least 4 times just outside the penalty box at the weekend, when Fulham were pressing for an equalizer, had it been a better opposition they would of had gilt edge chances to break away and buried Fulham. He also showed signs of Adel of old where his shoulders slump and stands still for a couple of seconds. Don`t think at this time we can afford this type of luxury player, not with our pace at the back.
I`m all for getting him back in the summer, and then moulding him into more of a team player.

I like the player - good energy and very talented - but he is the WORST decision maker EVER!

I've said it before, but he could be a star if it weren't for his awful, awful reading of the game.. It's a shame..

Did you watch him on Sunday against Utd?, he was dreadful.Very few of his passes made it to other players.

he showed attacking intent but he too often lost the ball more times than Ruiz per minute... and that even vs Sheffield United

Rather keep Tarrabt and get Bent off our books, seems to have lost his goal touch and if he is not scoring then he is a a luxury and we have Berba occupying that space. Tarrabt when he played the lone striker role put in a great shift for us.

      Some quotes from fools...

Joey has always had that good temperament and decision making about him, you're absolutely right.

If adel came back and scored a goal the guys who don't want him back would love him again . Just like what happened with Joey apart from all Joey had to do was step on the pitch.

Sat in behind Austin he'd do well

Maybe, but we've seen the best of Joey Barton since he was given an unexpected and undeserved wholehearted welcome back from the QPR fans.

Is it not worth trying that if Adel comes back, because the positives of getting Adel back into any kind of form, surely outweighs the enjoyment some people might get from booing him off the pitch immediately.

Must say I am surprsied that so many on this thread are saying they dont want him back as its usually just a few of us sticking our heads up to get shot at when it comes to Adel saying he's not worth the hassle

When he went to Fulham all his fans were saying he will do great down the river and he would show just how good he is but he has actaully shown that the the two previous seasons, that many made excuses for him over, were not one offs as he is now in his third season of poor form in a row.

Surely its dawning on people that the championship season was potentially a purple patch and what we have seen since (and before that) is possibly his actual standard!!! just a thought (Stuart Wardley scored for fun one season never done it again!!!)

When he went Fulham I thought he would be back by the end of January and it seems that may well be the case. If he returns I will support him and hope he steps up and has learnt from his time at Fulham but if honest not convinced it will be the case

No one would boo him. I'm pretty sure, however, that Adel wouldn't react like Joey has to being welcomed back. It's not in his nature. I'd like to be proved wrong, however. I'm not anti Adel. I just think he's not up to it. And could damage team morale (Watrbs fave Armond would fall back into his old habits...). Again, I'd like to be proved wrong.

Fair enough. I'm just suggesting we should try giving him a hero's welcome like we did Joey. Worth a shot.

he would 100% make us better on the pitch

trouble is what comes with him off it, shame really coz its rare you get a player that makes you stand up and applaud every week especially at LR .

Good memories probably best left in the past .
