  • We Were 24th out of 24 TEAMS In the Championship

When these guys took over, why so much animosity towards the board?

I'm not happy, but don;t know how Flavio, bernie and Amit can be blamed??

The way we go on, its as if they enjoy losing !!

You KNOW the answers, Pete, or if you don't, you clearly don't understand the majority of the posts on this site.

They are treating us with contempt, raising expectations without basis, raising costs, spinning just about everything and just are not spending enough time at the helm. Flab and Bernie are off go-carting and Amit / Mittal own only 20%, so can only have little input.

The two pawns in charge - Russell and Paladini are displaying no capability in moving the club on and the results on the pitch are quite simply inadequate.

The only input Flab seems to have had in the last year is to offload Dex and Campy and to 'insist' on 4-4-2, when our squad clearly is set up for five in midfield and one up front.

It is simply NOT good enough!

What you say is true pete, but at what cost, the reputation of our club is in the gutter, there is something not right at our club.
      They seek him here.................

Pete, you keep going on like this mate and It's boring. That has #### all to do with it.

THEY are the ones who promised more.
THEY are the ones who mentioned Premier League football in 5 years.
THEY are the ones who sanctioned our best striker by a country mile should go.
THEY are the ones who have not sufficiently replaced him and instead let the next best one go.
THEY are the ones who decided poncy light fittings and cussioned seats are more important than the team affairs.
THEY are the ones who continuously employ poor managers, then won't give them a chance to build a team.
THEY are the ones who decided to put the ticket prices up.
THEY are the ones who are making this club the mess it is today.

Of course, by THEY I do mean Flabbio for the most of it.
        Your mum would love me...

I keep hearing that fans are leaving in there droves, but lets be honest we got a sudden surge when they took over.

The WBA game where we lost 5-0 before the takeover, we could not even fill a coach, we had to go in a mini-bus. So, it was not all sweetness and light before the takeover, like some are trying to indicate.

We all want the best for the club. I don;t buy the fact the players are not good enough either, its all about lack of passion and attitude.

I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

              Benny, don't agree.

Think we are fortunate, we have become impatient and bad losers, without looking at the bigger picture. Have to say, I don't blame any members of the board at all. Thats not towing any party line, I blame the lack of heart by the players.

An example which worries the life out of me is Russels old club Hearts. They had street parties when he left because his commercial ideas priced many out and they also have an interfering, no nothing ####wit who knows naff all about football in charge. They were running Celtic and Rangers all the way when he pitched his Circus up in town and now they are joint bottom.

How does that make a good arguement Pete? That game was a Sunday, and I am 100% sure that if it was on a SAturday, we'd have taken far more as we usually do for a Saturday game. School nights tend to have a smaller away following and always has.

And as for the passion...why do you think the players don't have it?

For me, that's largely down to the fact our midfield and defence know we should be doing better and that no matter how hard they work, our strikers ain't good enough to finish the move off. There is no confidence amongst the players and fans alike. It's a vicious circle and when we're not scoring, we moan...the players hear that and get dejected.

The fat man needs to stop trying to control who comes in and out of the club and let the manager buy who he needs. Regardless of how bad JM's tactics have been, I refuse to believe he really doesn't think we need better strikers.

I`am really struggling to see how you can continue to not see,the glaring problems within our club.

Again...that's boll0cks mate. I can't honestly feel you seriously believe that the board are not to blame. They are a major fact of the disheartened feeling at the club as our low esteem rubs off onto the players. Flav is the reason, that is a fact. He's a bully and a dictator and isn't a very well liked man by many who have come across him. Well respected business man, yes...well liked person...NO!!!

Again, by 'they' I do mean Flav.

Just because someone can play "keepy uppy" with or perform circus tricks with a football doesn't make them a professional footballer. It's all about desire. Look at all the top teams, all with players on plenty more money than ours, none of them saying "I earned £500k this month, perhaps I won't be arsed today". All the top teams work their nuts off to get the ball back when they don't have it, it's like a personal affront to their pride that the other team has it.

I'm afraid we have too many showponies in our squad who think they are far better than they are. They don't put the effort in. They aren't men enough to walk past a pub full of our fans and take 30 seconds of abuse for it. They are quite simply embarrassing themselves, their profession and most importantly, our club.

And for that, you have to point the finger at the person responsible for bringing them to the club. Which very much by and large isn't Magilton, or any other manager we've had since the new owners arrived.

"With few seeming willing to come to the rescue of the famously colourful and outspoken Italian, it is indeed Briatore's successful 20-year career in the top flight that hangs most tenuously by a thread, with a lifetime ban from F1 one of the possible options available to the WMSC should Renault be found guilty of bringing the sport into disrepute. The 59-year-old has initiated legal proceedings against the Piquets for what he argues is a plot to blackmail him"

Agree with much of what you have said.

Of couse the board are going to have targets. Would fans prefer that they said their target was to finish 12th ? No they wouldn't.

Many of our fans have got completely carried away with their expectations and because we have not been promoted yet they are picking on every little thing that the club does. We would be hearing none of this crap about c club, badge changes etc if we got promoted last season.
