  • Rumour!!!!

Starting to surface on one m/b about a new invester coming on board soon, and if flav gets hung and dried ( F1) he will sell his shares.

The invester is Mallaya (Force India/Kingfisher owner) and along with Mittal will own most of the club with Amit running the show........i do like the sound of this , but prob wishfull thinking.
    They seek him here.................

Don't hold your breath.... but secretly hope.

Is it possible for someone to save a club from disaster, have the fans adore you for a while... and then end up as a big panto villian, because the ego got in the way of common sense??

History says yes, repeatedly... and not just at QPR.

Make enough enemies, and one day you'll get your #### kicked, and it'll all fall apart around you.
Just retire to your yachts, your mansion, your silicone babes... and live the life of luxury Flav. Good luck to you.
Nice try, but it hasn't worked.

There's always a bigger fish in the waters.

little known fact, Mallya is already a shareholder in the club, wouldnt be surprised if he did up his investment but be under no illusions, if Mallya does take over the club things wont be any different, if anything the commercialisation of the club will get worse with Mallyas track record

I've heard Force India are in the process of significantly upping their F1 investment on the back of recent successes (wind tunnels, new factories etc). F1 has huge exposure this season in India and is a big big presence and massive opportunity across the sub continent. Not sure if they'd be additional cash for a little footie team with nil exposure in India (shame about the work permit issue!)

Might give us a fresh start in the eye's of the rest of the football world, wipe away our terrible reputation in regards of the way staff (including managers) have been treated, and bring some stable managment.

Possibly. But the biggest problem with Flavio is his interfernece and lack of understanding of football and its fans.... but that doesn't stop him from dominating that side of things.

The commercial stuff is a bit tacky, and winds people up... but if this fella backed off and let experienced football people run the show, he could do all that with my blessing.

Heard this somewhere else-has a ring of truth about it.

If Flavio Briatore is chucked out of F1,and he and Bernie Ecclestone fall-out-then it would seem likely that Briatore would not be allowed to be Chairman of QPR under the F.A's "fit and proper person" ruling.

                  interesting times...

Can't be any worse than Flab with the benefit of the Mittals having a higher profile and a greater empathy with the fans as a result!!!

I just hope that if there is a change, everyone at the top goes and whoever comes in asks the manager what can I do to help you win games, instead of the current approach of the manager being told here are some players, play them in these positions and you will win games.

The other bit of the rumour is that, they will fund the push to the prem with money and not bowlocks..........about small hotels and not enough table filled....and Bernie has already said that its individual should take the blame not Renoult, so its already starting between Bernie and flav.

I like the sound of this, but at this stage it is what it is which is a rumour and i wont take it seriously until it becomes more concrete.
