I think it makes sense to keep a successful backroom team to help new managers find their feet at a club and deal with the players that are already at the club. Afterall, the likes of Phelan who'd been there for 15 years surely knew more about players like Carrick, Fletcher, Cleverley, Anderson, Nani, Fernandez, Jones, Smalling ettc than Moyes and his Everton backroom team.Comment
