Has anyone been on one? It seems strange to me, a football club is a working organisation with restricted access to certain parts and that does not always mean a door bolted shut. It is not as easy as walking from one museum room to another. You can get lost or end up somewhere where you are not wanted. I certainly expect a helpful tour guide, someone working for the club, to show the people around.

I took myself on one years ago and ended up choring Clark carlisles boots and a few match shirts."The kids missed everything from Queens Park Rangers to Conkers".
London Pride has been handed down to us.
London Pride is a flower that's free.
London Pride means our own dear town to us,
And our pride it for ever will be.

I went to the War museum and also had the same experience. It actually is a good idea as you don't get rushed along and you can really feel part of the experience. Yes I guess it helps the club cut overheads, but it never had a negative aspect to my experience and I think it is a fantastic idea.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Did one some years ago with a football team I was managing. Really good tour and Trevor Sinclair turned up to have a chat with the lads. He was good as gold.
Then we played a game on the AstroTurf on SAR against some local lads which was excellent. The next day we had some tickets for a game against Huddersfield. Think Quashie scored that day.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Did the guided tour on Saturday before the Huddersfield game.
Went with the brother in law and my two boys aged 9 and 10. It started at 10am and lasted just over an hour which meant a 4 hour wait until kick off, which we weren't looking forward too. However it all worked out ok.
It gave us time to pop up to the Uxbridge Road for some scoff before going back to the ground for 12.45 so the kids could get some autographs as the players arrived, then a good look round the clubshop whilst it was quiet, before going to our seats in the lower loft, by which time it was 2 o'clock and the hour flew by.
The tour itself was good, very good. Was amazed at how many were there. Must have been between 50 - 60 of us, we had to split into two groups.
My group was shown around by a chap who met us at the reception door (can't remember his name unfortunately) would guess he was in his late 50's, early 60's and from the East End, yet a life long Rangers fan.
I think I'm right in saying he doesn't actually get paid to do them, he just gets expenses. Shame, because he alone made it well worth the £15.
He was entertaining, informative and clearly enjoyed being there even though he has probably done dozens of them. He told us lots of little snippets of info that you wouldn't get with a pre recorded, self guided tour.
Despite my reservations beforehand I would definitely recommend the guided tour as we all had a really good time. Was well worth the money and glad I went.

Went to the Nou Camp tour. No one shows you around. If it's a good tour, then you should go from 1 room to another without any problems, and doors are locked or blocked so you can't go anywhere you shouldn't be.'The problem with quotes on the internet is you don't know if they are authentic' - Abraham Lincoln
