Maybe scouting for next season? To make a move in the summer if we go up. Looks a handful

Icelandic footballers can be quite decent - all that Viking/Irish stock, must be a good combo

Got a terrible injury record which is a worry but no doubting his goals record.

I'll be amazed if he ended up here in the next few weeks but Harry going to watch him in midweek must mean something is close. Harry wouldn't waste his time if he was a summer target. Hopefully a loan deal with view to permanent which would make sense with his injury record and our league status.

I would say that looking at him it isn't close as why would he have to look at him again, I reckon it's a first look

So why would redknapp travel all the way there? Oh well, onto the next one.

Just wanted to say that you have to be careful when it comes to strikers in the Eredivisie as the standard of defending over there is appalling. Quite a few strikers in the dutch league have failed to make an impact in other leagues because of this.
Welcome by the way. Good point to make. If we sign him then i'm up for it, if it means Zamora being pushed down in the squad

Quicker to get to Amsterdam than Liverpool, Manchester and Norwich. Especially from Poole

Iceland striker will not join QPR, says agent

Kolbeinn Sigthórsson’s agent and brother has insisted the Ajax striker would not be interested in a move to QPR:

He doesn't want to play in the championship which is not a shock for a top Ajax player and probably means he is a target for June and the club is laying the ground work now.

Which is good news really, its the kind of methodical preparation that successful clubs do, rather than just jump at some player in a rush.

Doubt he is the only one and most likely just this one got in the paper

Still playing for a massive club compared to us.

Even if the Dutch league is not great, why the hell would someone leave Ajax for QPR? Ajax are one of the biggest clubs in Europe playing in the Champions League each year.
