At this stage in our promotion season, the table leading positions were

    Currently:

    Leicester 57, QPR 52, Burnley 51...

If form over 26 games persists for the next 20 games, the table will be:

    Leicester 101, QPR 92, Burnley 90.

Past performance is no indication of future prospects but it is clear that this season is completely different from our promotion winning season.
This is the right analysis. This is not shaping up as an "average" season. I think we will need at least 90 points to claim automatic promotion. For the last 4 months all I've heard is how Burnley will fall by the wayside but it hasn't happened yet. The return with them at LR is going to be a big one!

What happened last season or the season before doesn't really matter. What matters is the next game and then the game after that. Let's win the next game first before we start worrying about how many points we need to go up!

One thing that i feel is we just need to keep in touching distance of Leicester as they havent really gone through a bad patch yet and IMO they arent as good as everyone says they are

We got more points this season but it's also tighter. We were first on 49 points in Jan11 but also had a nice 5point gap to the 3rd placed team. Whereas this year we're 2nd and we got Burnley right behind us. We should be able to do it but will be harder this year I reckon. Burnley getting some bad results would be the biggest helping hand.
