      to be fair

to be fair the creating of x block has destroyed the noise we once were making, when pete was banging the drum and the feltham boys were running the q block, the death of martin purdie and the banning order of my mate john has destroyed the sound barrier that used to be two thousand fans singing in that corner,IT WAS CALLED THE MAGIC CORNER R IT EMBRACED THREE LOTS OF THE LOFT AND 5 LOTS OF THE ELLERSLIE AND BECAUSE THOSE TWO THOUSAND FANS WERE DEATHENING THEY COULD GET THE WHOLE GROUND SINGING

we have lost everything we have achieved now because if you see the south africa road stand they are trying to get that courner nearest to the loft singing but they will never achieve that we have to accept that we wont ever sing loud again

No matter what team it is, their away fans always have the atmosphere coz its a day out for them. A lot of home grounds are flat. I remember when Arsenal used to sing 'Ian Wright, Wright, Wright' for the whole 90 mins. Just don't get that anymore. Prob coz more money going on tickets which don't leave enough to get drunk and merry

Not gnna lie it's off putting to go home games sometimes when the atmosphere is this bad, usually the away fans singing then when we score, the away fans shutting up and us singing "ur not singing anymore".

Also why is the family section where it is, what is more intimidating kids behind you who don't really talk, or couple thousand of us cussing the **** out of you, every match Greeno gets stick from the away fans it's really a pity we can't do the same especially when we are the home team they are supposed to be nervous not us.

Move the family stand somewhere else honestly, let's be honest it would be more lively there if it was!

I would stick away fans in half of ellerslie then both goal ends are packed with R's, do away with the teir in loft Aswell so it's all one stand.

Could have something to do with the Lower Loft being made the family stand?
It's not just you Ging. I was over in Sept. for Brum and Brighton at home - sat in the Loft for the first time in many a long year (usually go for SAR) and the atmosphere was the worst I can ever remember. Very disappointing. Most of the away grounds I've been to have had a better atmosphere than LR. Newcastle in particular stands out, and Forest a few years back (2-2 draw).
