True, but but the main difference is Taarabt has a history of a bad attitude at this club whilst playing at this club.SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

The cigar incident is non excusable. The sending off is and always has been apart of his game. And saying he only signed for the money is just typical joey being honest. fock me you don't think most players play for a club because they love that club. Its there job of course they play for the money.
when joey puts that hoops top on he'll always give a 100% something that Taarabt will do when it suits him or if his not to busy throwing toys out of prams.SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

I'm majorly impressed by Joey for the most part this season. He has been excellent, and although the petulance is still there, it is much better controlled (bar one slip).
The only real difference between the two is that Joey didn't find another club to take him, and had to stay. He has rolled up his sleeves and got on with it, but there is nothing to say that Adel wouldn't have done the same if he had stayed too.
There are certainly other factors with Adel, his history and relationship with Harry for starters is a pretty major one for sure, but the reception that Joey received on his return stands in marked difference to the attitude towards Adel at this moment.
It's an interesting comparison for sure.

Look not for one second am I saying Joey's a saint, he's far from that. But come Saturday afternoon I know I would prefer Joey in the team because I know what im going to get from him a 100%. But with Taarabt i'm not sure even when he was playing at his best, you never really new who was going to turn up. Now don't get me wrong i'm not for one second questioning Taarabt's talent. He was a huge huge part of our promotion season.SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

All I'm saying mate is maybe its not best to relive the past and maybe we should keep moving forward. After all we're not doing to bad are we...
I also don't think for 1 minute if Harry did have him back would he let him near the squad unless he proved his worth and earnt the right to play. To have one maverick who can be frustrating but also change a game or win one in a flash moment of magic is not a bad tool to have in the box. We all know he's capable of that and while he's our player and we are striving for automatic promotion I would personally take the risk. It's just a opinion and not knocking the achievemnts.this squad has done this year as am very proud.Last edited by maidstone_hoop; 19-01-2014, 08:44 PM.
