    Opinions?

Didn't work for me today although delighted about the result.

I was vocal wanting a 442 & maybe would with a better striker up top but today having AJ a& having 2 wingers on the bench was a mistake. Phillips done well when he came on and Traore was excellent & seems to make great contributions every time he is thrown in. Are others still wanting more 442?

Not sure why traore and Phillips can't play in a 442 at home games. Oneil isn't good enough. Credit to kelvin best game I have seen him play. Kranjkar is a must starter and we need traore over oneil. If we play pacy wingers it will help aid austin who is a quality striker
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Doesn't work with O'Neil, Carroll and Henry.

Think its been mentioned here before, if we play 4-4-2 we simply cannot have Dunne and Hill as the CB pairing. First half Huddersfield should have been out of sight with all 3 chances coming through the middle and out pacing Hill and Dunne.

        For me we either play

        a) 4-4-2 with Onouha + 1 of Hill and Dunne at CB
        or
        b) if Hill and Dunne are CB we need to play 4-5-1 with someone sitting in front protecting them.

Far too static. We need to play pacy players. All our pace was sitting on the bench. Quite a negative starting line up imo

Very good post and I agree completely. With dunne and hilly we sit far too deep so that is a very valid point

              Good post that.

Agree regarding the pace thing. Dunne's positioning is excellent & he's no slouch either but today as you mentioned Hudds could have been 3 up with real chances not half chances. Scouts watching that would have been drooling. I just hope we don't depend on Hill & Dunney all season as we will get exposed after teams strengthen.

Phillips should always start for me over O'Neill who again offers very little. He has a great attitude & a top engine but distribution wise he's below average.

The starting midfield today was woeful . They were so narrow , there were times when they were so close to each other they could literally hold hands. Henry and oneil need too many touches on the ball , Henry seems to do a pirouette every time he gets the ball. Carroll is too lightweight and needs the protection of Barton. The starting lineup today gave Huddersfield a massive boost.only in the second half did we actually look like a team chasing promotion

O'Neill, Carroll & Henry to me are virtually identical in there play. Take one out & play a winger for width. But I'm not the manager so....

just need two new top drawer CMs for the 442, and a couple of new CDs as well because they lack pace, plus a couple of good wingers because wingers have to cross the ball in a 442 but they cut in all the time, finally need two new strikers because two of the current ones are injury prone, that should do the trick, 442 = sorted

Don't think Traore can play or last the full game?
