Carroll was very poor today just kept giving the ball away so much, also doesn't put in any tackles though Henry had to do his work today

So what if he still wants it after he loses it. Great attitude but average player. If he was a qpr player I'd be willing to give him more time as he's young and I'd love us to bring some young qpr players into the team. Facts are he's a spurs player. These loan players should be giving us the edge over other teams. They shouldn't be there for game time!
I agree ... Loan players are brought in to give you something extra ... Unfortunately I don't think he does... Suffice to say that he may improve as he gains experience, but at our expense, only for the parent club to take him back when they see that improvement ... Townsend, walker etc

We do all the leg work and they get back the finished article at a time when we perhaps cannot afford to lose them

in a midfield that had henry , o'neill and carroll we did well to win, all 3 of them are not up to it. carroll is light weight and gives the ball away to often , looking at the bench though im not sure harry had anyone better to play in carrolls position . we could have been 3 nil down in the 1st half and though i thought henry got better in the 2nd half we got out of jail as we did against doncaster with austins goals

[QUOTE=QPR1976;1202268]This weeks scapegoat indeed. Last week, many were saying how well he played. QUOTE]

Not quite true most people said he was appalling last week first half but when we were comfortable looked a different player i.e. 3 nil up

But last week, in a midfield that had Carroll, O'Neil & Henry in it (after the latter had come on for Barton), you beat Ipswich comprehensively?

one thing for sure, if Carroll starts getting abuse you can kiss goodbye any loans from Spurs in the future, no Walker, Townsend or Benny
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

Serious? Spurs must be loving us, we've turned Walker and Townsend from also-rans into full International players. Spurs know they're onto a good thing with us.

Could argue that part of his development on loan is not just match time but also learning to handle constructive criticism from the crowd and fans

No point blowing smoke up his a rse and telling him he's amazing when in fact he has been quite the opposite; he will become a letter player with people being honest and telling him where he is coming up short so he can focus on improving those areas

Yesterdays lesson was always be on your toes and take a picture of what is around you so you don't get caught out

Really like Carroll and wont hear a bad word against him, so i havent read any of this thread, he did fall asleep for their goal, but he played fine after that. We dug out a hard fought win yet again and without barton.

I like Carroll too but he was p00 yesterday. Gave the ball away so many times it was a joke.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

He saved us yesterday , they where on the counter we only had one man at the back he ran and just took the player out from behind gaining a yellow.
