Gave the ball away 5 times whilst not under pressure. Not the only one BAE did also a few times as did others, can't tackle very well, when he did put a bit of bite into a tackle it was a scissors tackle & he was booked, no decisive through balls again, muscled off the ball on quite a few occasions & never shoots when given half a chance. Not the worst player on the pitch but for me came with a rep & big potential but just doesn't offer enough for us.

Before you ask I'm not digging him out have a look at my post history I've defended him a lot on here but I feel a different set up / line up would suit us & if it was my way on form Carroll wouldn't be in it.

Yet when he gets it does nothing or loses it. If that makes you happy than fair enough.

Had a bad game today but he hasnt had many of them.

Problem is if he was our player we could see hope for him in the future. Cos he's a Spuds player it just seems like we're developing him for them.

People were backing him when they'd never seen the guy play. He had such a good rep I was expecting someone to come in an tear teams to pieces.

People keep saying his young / he's a great prospect, well I'm sure we've got our own players in our own EDS who could move up to the first team squad and offer as much as what Carroll has.

I don't like slating the bloke. I do t like slating any of our players, but I'm so disappointed with what I've seen

He consistently bottles challenges, and that cost us the goal today.

Also passed it to the opposition on numerous occasions when under no pressure whatsoever.

Has not created one chance as far as I can remember in all the games he has played, and can't remember a shot either.

                So what 's the point?

Henry who is not really good on the ball at least puts a challenge in and breaks up play.

If he had come form say Fulham and not Tottenham would Harry play him every week??

This boy may have a future ... but in the future (in 2-3 yrs). He was absolute **** today 99.99% wrong passes!

I thought Carrol had a decent game today. Turns and drives us forward at every opportunity. As a result, he loses/ misplaces passes. Comes with the territory.

I dunno, maybe I know nothing about the game after 46 years on this earth...
Really? I think he does the absolute opposite. He passes it sideways if he's not giving the ball away. He tries hard granted but I expect that from every qpr player. So what if he still wants it after he loses it. Great attitude but average player. If he was a qpr player I'd be willing to give him more time as he's young and I'd love us to bring some young qpr players into the team. Facts are he's a spurs player. These loan players should be giving us the edge over other teams. They shouldn't be there for game time!

This weeks scapegoat indeed. Last week, many were saying how well he played. Not great today, and was 100% to blame for their goal.
Just imagine the reaction if he'd have headed an open goal against the bar from 2 yards instead of Lenny.....

I think it's fair to say he won't return to Spurs and force his way into their side and subsequently England's like Walker & Townsend did.

I hope he ups his game, finds consistency and proves his critics wrong, but I wouldn't shed tears if Sherwood recalled him.
                      BAE however.....

Agreed mate. I also backed him but difference is I'm not blinkered. I'm happy to say he's not up to it. I gave him a chance & backed him on here but if you know football you can see how many mistakes he makes.

needed an arm around him, felt his head dropped in the 2nd half, had a poor game but a young lad who needs encouragement
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross

I have given him the benefit of doubt but the bloke should be returned to Spurs ASAP. He is too weak for this league. His passing and tackling is Embarrassing at best.

His best period was the last 10 minutes. The likes of him and Henry is shocking.

Good point, we played 4-5-1 for the last 10/15 minutes once Traore came on.

Perhaps he's not suited to 4-3-1-2 or whatever versions of 4-4-2 we played today.
It was certainly a more open game until then with Huddersfield having more clearcut chances than most visitors to LR this season. I like that we can change formations but perhaps our squad is better suited to a 5 man midfield & 1 up front ?
Probably why we're so keen for more striker options.....
