I would certainly not boo Warnock. If it wasnt for him, QPR would have been relegated to League 1 in 2010.

I don't think he did do a lot wrong in the PL either. Apart from his management of some of the players (like Gorkss, & Hill), he was doing ok given the lack of funding in pre-season. And having seen what a mess Hughes made, who’s to say sticking with Warnock would have turned out worse.

That's not what people are saying... what they are saying is that it's not the same thing.

You can watch on television but you can't see the whole pitch, but if you were there you get to see everything including every players positioning for the full 90 minutes.

Dazzer was implying people like Rebel etc are basing their opinions on the team having seen 30 seconds or so highlights on the FLS...

Thats the way I read it anyway.

That's true, however there are pros and cons with both. For example, whilst enjoying the live atmosphere you might be at a game with a poor view depending where your sitting; on the other hand you could be watching a live HQ broadcast of the full 90 mins and get a much better overall perspective of the game and spot things you never would if attending the game.

Watching on TV/Stream you are seeing what someone wants you to see.

At a game you see what you want to see.

Quite a difference in my opinion especially when talking about player performances.

On some streams it`s almost impossible to make out who is who. There is no substitute for being there what so ever.

                    I disagree.

You may have poor eyesight for example.

Or you may have a restricted view, or just be in one corner/end of the ground, or quite low down.

Also a lot of streams nowadays are in HD.

I go to about half our home games each year as that's about as much as I can afford with two little nippers my priority. but because I can only make 12 odd games a year that doesn't make me less of a fan or entitled to less of a opinion than the guys who go each week like I did for years until I had my girls.
It's true that there's nothing like being at the game and you do get a wider view of what's going on with individuals but watching on tv isn't to different now, I am more than capable to watch qpr for 90 mins on the box and make a.decent analysis of what I have just seen, and in my opinion just as good as when I'm at a game.

So your saying that a 6" by 4" rectangle in the center of my monitor is the best option if you are Mr Magoo with a rigid neck ?

As for HD streams, could you point me in the direction of these next time we play.

Its not 6" by 4" when you click on full-screen, especially when using a 17"+ monitor.

They're certainly about, theyre just not advertised for obvious reasons. Or for the tech-savvy types - a large satellite dish with a good decoder.
