  • Harry rules out move for Wells.

HR has distanced himself from a possible deal for Nahki Wells. He said, according to NewsNowQPR and Talksport, "I haven't spoken to anyone at Bradford. He's a good young player and has done well, but he is not someone that we have made enquiries about".Hopefully he's bluffing.

I think Harry is after a target man type , most of the names ive heard linked fit that type of striker

We must of had scouts watching him (if we have any that is) plus he's not going to come out and say yeah we want him. Would rocket his price right up.

There are at least six or seven clubs who are interested in him, so it is not likely to happen.

We don't need a target man though! - Austin is a taget man, his got the number 9, we need someone off Austin like Wells with pace like AJ was doing!!

I thought we'd made an unacceptable offer for him recently.

I'm actually with Harry on this. During pre-season, along with Austin he would have been a calculated gamble.

Unfortunately, we are now in a position where we have to start getting things right, including proven goalscorers, be they strikers or midfielders.

Would prefer him to get someone in sharpish rather than mess about. If that means his second or third choice, fine. Don't think we can afford to be haggling towards the end of the month, only to lose out on someone who is happy to watch premier league games from the subs bench.

I think you will find that was someone on here's assumption.

I wouldn't disagree with that, although i dont see Austin as a target man striker..
But the names that have been branded about all seem the same sort of striker, Kane, Crouch, Bowrey, Jones, Cole, there all target man type's , listen he may be playing a blinder and be close to someone who will totally surprise us all !
