    Apparently Roger Johnson threw his shirt to the West Ham fans after the game yesterday and the fans threw it straight back at him. Brilliant!

      Am not convinced at all that we were worse then - we were just playing much, much better teams. Even with shocking attitude issues, any team with Remy, Townsend and Adel has to be stronger than what we have now. Wd Karl Henry have even got near the subs bench last season? Don't think so.

        Do you reckon he watched Forest Gump before the game?.... "run Roger run"

          You make an excellent point but we could sign Messi. If the guy doesn't want to put the shirt on and give any effort, he won't be any good to us. You can't tell me players like Boswinga, Park and Granero will make this season's 1st team? In theory they are better than the players we got, but the attitude stunk and didn't play at all well. So agree with your point, but still would rather this team than last seasons.

            I take your point and clearly there was all sorts of stuff going on last season. But for all their faults the likes of Mbia and Diakite played with some passion. The media love simple stories so it has become "last season attitude stunk, this season everything's sunny." But I don't buy all this propaganda that the attitude in the dressing room etc now is brilliant. Obviously its guess work because none of us are there but plenty of times this season I've thought we've looked a bit lifeless. Was it away to Doncaster Rovers or some rubbish team when we threw away a lead and ended up losing 2-1. Barton I think lost his man and gave up the chase that led to their winner. Plenty of other examples this season. Still think we have plenty of players who think they just need to turn up and tap it around and that will be enough.

              he will be gone if they lose to the Sheep Shaggers the weekend? it will be hard for Gold & Sullivan to keep backing him?

                Going to cost West Ham to get rid of him. Thing is, they'll have to act fast as this transfer window could be vital to any team trying to stay up.

                If they go down though, Leyton Orient could well be playing at the Olympic Stadium in that first season after all!

                    [QUOTE=acricketer;1196070]http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/foo...ly-Davies.html

                    Billy Davis?

                    think they're more likely to go for Malky Mackay no compensation to pay and probably a better manager than Davis
