Hello there,
I'm a lurker on the board but I am now posting to add to this thread.
I was on the train from Preston that the QPR team was on after the Blackpool game. I was also in First Class, in the carriage next to the team carriage. The carriage was being "guarded" by at least four British Transport Police Officers. That annoyed me straight away as I think there are far more pressing things for BT police officers to be doing on a Saturday night than babysitting duties. To get to the buffet car myself and the other people in my carriage had to walk through the QPR one. This meant being questioned by some jumped up little ***** from Virgin as to why we wanted to walk through the carriage. It was actually embarrassing as there were two American tourists who got the once over as well, to their complete bafflement.
So don't say this has nothing to do with the club, it's got everything to do with the club. They must have made all the arrangements with Virgin and BTP. If they feel so important, or worried they are going to be beaten up, they should do what the other teams do and travel by coach.

there are always going to be very dangerous people that follow football teams
there are always going to be very dangerous people who follow football teams and these people do explode sometimes so i guess this is a follow on from that really,
dOnt forget the qpr who got his throat cut in the egerton arms on the promo day
the police will show the scar that needed two hundred stitches to the club and tell them dont talk to fans in case thay are armed
it might seem an over kill but statistics show our fans to be in the top five most violent in london,to get access to the players you need to support brentford or charlton where hooliganism is unknown and the fans put flowers in there hair
in ten years time when violence is unknown on our shores at football matches the players will be able to mix freely with the fans
but we are still ten years away from a total, ceasation of hooliganism

So what are the odds that the players and/or TF & Co are on the trains again this weekend. Do the club have some type of early group discount arrangement with the various train operators or are they cutting up job lots of washing powder packs for the train discount coupon? Either way they sound like a right group of thugs, a right proper firm and therefore they should by alrights have some type of nickname, any Suggestions?Last edited by WCE; 08-01-2014, 12:41 PM.My old man was the star player for HMP Parkhurst during their successful and unbeaten 77/78 season.
