  • QPR wait on Remy deal

Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has admitted he is surprised that Newcastle United have not already concluded a deal for on-loan star Loic Remy.

"I don't know what the deal is. You'd think they'd want to snap him up, wouldn't you? If they don't then someone else will,"

Not keeping him then was looking forward to seeing him back in the hoops next season.

Perhaps TF has asked to bring some cash in from what he has lost and Remy is the only choice.

Maybe Arsenal will take a good look at Remy now Walcott is stuffed?

Wonder if we can broker a deal for him this January even tho he's on a season long at Newcastle.... That could free some valuable cash and wages for a top striker who could help us up (Rhodes anyone?)

Newcastle won't be in any hurry, they will wait till season is over and then only pay what is in his get out clause, €6 million ( that includes the €2 million paid)

Could be the next scenario If Newcastle don't buy him. Newcastle are also in for Carlton Cole so they may not have the money for Remy.

Not at all Harry has said the board want to keep him, Harry however I think believes that if he didn't wanna be here this season stuff him. In the Newcastle papers rent just talks about champions league us and Newcastle are not in his plans IMO.
