The transfer window... I would have hoped that in December targets and weaknesses would have been identified and on the 1st the plans should have been out into action.

I know Harry loves transfer deadline car talk but I feel the earlier the business is done the better....

Most transfers are done on the last few days, think the window should only be open a week.

There's no movement until the last freaking day. Another illustration of how screwed up football is. I agree with MYU. Limit the window to the first ten days of January.....

It's difficult to do early business in the Jan window, clubs charging inflated prices and all that. Won't see anything major until the last few days.

Patience is all well and good but between now and the window closing is 4 games... That's 4 games with 1 striker and limited supply to him .. This season patience is s commodity we can Ill afford..

                    We are doomed.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Not saying that but 4 games is 12 points to either keep pace at the top or slip down the league.

I'm a big Harry fan and have faith but I think waiting until Jan 31st and going for a smash and grab is a very risky strategy especially if austins hamstring flares up again.. But then again what do I know?

HR - "TF, we need a striker, a top, top striker. I would like to bring in Nikica Jelavic"
TF - "OK, I'll see what we can do."

                          Later......

TF - "Since giving us a football lesson on Saturday, he doesn't want to come and Roberto doesn't want to sell."
HR - "OK, how about Jordan Rhodes?"
TF - Too expensive, unless we can shift Cesar."
HR - "What about [insert name here]?"
TF - "We are too tin-pot for them/they have others interested and are keeping their options open/they want more money/they want a 5 year contract/they are happy bench-warming in the PL/more valid reasons why they wouldn't immediately sign a contract with us..."

I thought you could just pop to ASDA and get one off the shelf

Need to do our business pronto and avoid the madness that is Jim White day at the end of the month.

But with PR loving Fernandes and Redknapp at the helm I can't see that happening. :s
