I believe he could offer us the missing inspiration we crave.
He would also cost us games and although everyone has a massive problem with us playing possesssion football, it stops the opposition scoring. If they dont have the ball, they cant score. For every time Adel beats a player, he gives possession away at least twice.

People seriously need to move on. As previously stated he hasnt done anything for 2 1/2 seasons, so based on that, why would he guarentee us promotion?

I think it worked because we didnt really play as a team. The other 10 on the pitch played as a team and were clearly instructed to let Adel do as he pleased and give him the ball. Its fine when it works, but when it doesnt its a disaster. We are a much more complete squad than the promotion season, so everyone stop panacking so much...... we are 3rd and still odds on to go up.

Nice to see that benayoun got all of 2 starts and 2 sub appareances (???) before being completely written off. Not like hes been out for ages and just getting his match fitness back or anything.

The discussion wasnt about his bad reputation - I agree that we should in some ways 'move on' like he has..

BUT, he is still our player and im pretty sure we probably pay some of his wages still..

The point really was, what are we missing.. and to be honest we need him

I think the main point in this is his ability!!! I don't think you can question that!!! He's stsrted to show.in the last few games for Fulham that he's got talent!! When you see him mugging players off @ man city and question if he could still do it in the championship it makes me laugh!!
I understand a lot of people question his attitude and loyalty and I think that's more of the debate rather than would he be effective for us or add the creative spark we need!!!

Mugging off Man City players in a game that his team got stuffed, at home? Kinda sums it up for me... Pretty, but flimsy. No doubting his ability, he's a wonderful talent... But he's not a team player and can cause more harm than good.

Surely it's time to look past Taarabt. He can't keep saving us.

Not writing him off at all but if other fans will write off Adel simply because there are not a host of Prem clubs lining up to buy him then by the same logic you would have to write off just about every member of our squad. 'tis all...

Don't like the look of Benayoun already though.. a poor mans Kranjcar. Wouldn't of looked out of place in the Rangers team of last year.
                    Over 33, nothing to prove...

And this is one of many reasons why I wouldn't bring him back, if he doesn't get what he wants or the "love" he needs, he throws his toys out the pram and causes tension among the team.

Think you need to read Warnock book to understand what he really thought of Taraabt antics. Seems a lot of the managers who have managed Taraabt have no motivational skills then, or ever thought it might just be Taraabt !
