Hopefully Carroll will come good, tho as yet I am nowhere near convinced he's a player.

Unfortunately Henry just isn't very good, and even worse if he's playing once in a blue moon.

Carroll does something the rest of our midfielders can't and that is move the ball quickly. I think we should encourage him rather than slate him. Henry is Henry and was the same before we bought him and even now not sure why he was bought in the first place.

Carroll comes in for a lot of unwarranted stick imo. I havent seen a truly bad performance from him to be honest. Some lightweight ones, perhaps a couple of quiet ones. But I would have him over henry all day long.

Agree. I dont think we should be slating Carroll, he's definitely a complete different player to Henry and brings a bit of movement/creativity to the midfield, plus he's young and still very much developing.

Henry on the other hand, was bought in to bulk the middle up and add a bit strength. but instead he's just looked clumsy and very unreliable.

Henry seems to be becoming the main boo boy target. When he and Barton played together regularly earlier in the season we looked a lot more solid and difficult to break down. I'm not saying he is a great footballer but we need some tough work horses during a long campaign and I have no issue with him. Yes looks clumsy at times but an experienced, uncompromising pro. Happy to have him do some dirty work for us.

Nothing against Carroll. Think technically looks decent and has potential but for me a bit lightweight to be a regular yet. If he continues to develop could be a good Premiership footballer in a couple of years or so.
