  • The month ahead....

massive on and off the pitch.
lose against ipswich on saturday and its catch up time for a team that should be at the very least playing half decent football.
i'm personally happy with 3rd although we should have more points on the board and worry about the style we play-well documented!!
if we get in the wrong players(just enough to get us up)we risk the same total overhaul as before....leaving us ****ed!!!
surely we get players in that are not...too old, in troublepast it,massive reputations etc. if we fail in this window the implications are to big to think about. i like tf and believe he is honest about his future plans but if he fails this window....who knows.

If TF fails I would forgive him.but if it turns out to be HR I wouldn't **** on him if he were on fire in the street.

Its Tony train set. He (and his associates) are putting up the money. We all have views on who to buy. Its not an exact science. He no doubt has his ideas and is being advised by numerous people (some good, some less good, some charlatans looking to stitch him up). If you are buying a new car and your mate screams at you "don't buy x car, buy y car, look at Top Gear, they said it was car of the year" etc. You would certainly listen to that advice but ultimately if you prefer your original car, its your decision. As far as I know Tony and co are the only ones looking to chuck serious money at the club and expand it. He has made major mistakes (as he has been big enough to admit) but even if we don't go up this season I wd still prefer him as owner to Paladini or Briatore.

Agree bush, surely the buying policy should be with one eye on players we could use in the prem, But not players racing towards the end of their careers.
I'd like to think those jan fixtures we won't lose a game and maybe pick up 10 pts, but i suppose lose 1 and pick up 9 would be acceptable
