What really worries me about yesterdays performance (the Capital cup earlier this season and other cup performances recently) is it does not bode well if we land up in the play offs

For whatever reason when it comes to cup type games we seem unable to come through the other end unscathed so for me if were going up its first or second or I fear we will not go up at all

You know what? I feel we better not go up now.

i dont wont to go up by hook or by crook with the current regime at this club from top to bottom...from little acorns grow giant oaks but we appear to have sown the wrong seeds!

We so cant risk the lottery of the play offs. Cos we all know we would get to the final and no players turn up and we get hammered or we would playnamazomg, hit the post and crossbar ten times and then lose with the last kick of the game,

i think playoff spot would be an amazing achievment.

no way are we the best team in the league, we are a work in progress club. as for those who were duped into believing that we are the best squad in the championship, i suggest you stop reading the sun newspaper and going on betting sites.

for me, top six would be fantastic.

I'd rather we were a yoyo club for a couple of seasons and get it right that way, than spend a couple of years in the championship.

If we only make the play-offs...we'd probably draw Forest and we never beat them at the city ground.

Yo yo club is exactly how we need to do it for a couple of seasons. Getting stronger every time until we are good enough and confident enough, and big enough to be a permanent fixture and fitting in the top half of the prem.

I still honestly think we'll finish in the top 2.

BUT when you look at the state this club was on last year a play off position would still be a massive achievement.

It's ok saying you don't want to go up but if we don't we won't have the money to get the type of players in to eventually stay there. If we don't go up this season a lot of our players will be leaving and you may say good but they will be replaced with inferior players as we will not be able to pay decent wages. As others have said I'd rather be a yo yo club and for the season we are in the prem we would bet £120m plus more parachute payments to build the club and team up.

If wecan't compete with a decent premier league we might as well just go up for the money and use it to attract decent young players like wells. Grace relegation and start rebuilding. Get rid of redknapp and the old midfielder shi te like oneil jenas and henry and lets a decent manager build up like a Everton Southampton in mind
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Watching Forest this afternoon I have to say, we have a lot of work to do to finish top 2.
