People forget that he started playing in 2009 and he is now only 21 years old. If you look deeper into his stats, this season, he has played 8 times, 7 sub appearances included so he has only started 1 match. Played a total of 188 minutes in the league, in most cases coming on in the last 20 minutes or so. He has yet to play a full 90 minutes of football this season because of the success of Palacio and Milito. Last season, playing at the age of 20, he scored 8 and assisted 5 in 22 starts and 11 sub appearances again, completing only 11 matches league, playing a lot of matches on the left wing as well. Prior to that he played a total of 360 minutes in the league in his entire career, never playing a full 90 minutes and only starting 2 matches. So never read into the whole 8 in 59 as those matches were barely played in truth. The boy looks very useful in the champ because of his height and strength and could be a valuable asset to us. Note that he has not been in the lineup once in the last 2 seasons outside of red cards so I don't think he is particularly injury prone."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane

QPR set to hold talks over Belfodil deal
This article came out yesterday but I'm not sure if it was posted on here, doesn't look like it.
"QPR expect to hold talks with Ishak Belfodil’s agent in the next 24 hours.
Rangers want to take Belfodil, 21, on loan from Inter Milan. He has also attracted interest from West Ham.
The situation is complicated because Parma, who co-own the Algerian forward, want him sold for at least £7.5m.
Parma have a say in the player’s future as they will land 50% of any transfer fee for Belfodil, having signed him from French club Lyon in 2012 and agreed a deal for him to join Inter last summer."
