I want to know if we did get him, what kind of fee would we expect to pay?

Sold to Rangers for 4m and then Everton for 5m.

Sounds like we've got quite a bit of competition though, with interest from abroad and in Britain.

But I hope this one happens, would be great to have him here.
      SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

Would destroy this league if he regains his confidence. Everton fans dont seem to rate him, and he hasnt scored for about 10 months!

Sound like the're as hungry to offload him as much as we are with Cesar.

It's all a ploy so our cb takes it easy on him

He's 28 years old and has 3 years left on his contract so there's no particular reason why he should be available on the cheap but then again he has played at all since the new manager came in. My guess would be a fee of around 3m quid!

Been reported as £3.5m, rising to £5m. Whatever that means.

Loan him & agree a fee in June should a) we get promoted AND b) he prove his worth.

I'd rather invest cold hard cash long term in a younger player with potential, like Wells.

To bring both in we'd have to offload Cesar.
Whilst we're in Sun'lan for that I'd take SWP along and make it a BOGOF, then get Zaha on loan too !

                    That's just me though.

Martinez is already quoted as saying he wouldn't loan him out, as he couldn't then replace him.

Yes, but rising based on what? Appearances?

Read that forum myu posted. They absolutely detest the bloke and dare i say it he has got the new rob hulse or jay bothroyd written all over him. The whole of a clubs fanbase are never wrong, and the things they say about him in 250 page thread, scare the life out of me signing a striker wise.

Dunno but they are offering to carry him down here and also offer us money to get rid of him so they dont ever have to see him again. They slate him so bad its changed my whole way of thinking. Trust the majority of fans and you wont go wrong is my motto.
