I always use my phone for internet as laptop knackered and the touchscreen keyboard plus my retarded fingers make me add full stops too. I have to delete a lot of full stops and spelling errors.

Long is class, no two ways about it. His goalscoring record isn't the best but his general play is brilliant. Having Austin, Jelavic and Long would be as best we can do in this transfer window. Any two of them three plus AJ would cause havoc.

I'm not so sure Greg - I think the reason we've been playing 1 up front so often is because that's what Harry wants. He said it many times. He feels 442 is not longer the modern way and that most successful teams play with 1 up front. I'm not sure I agree TBH, but if he'd wanted to favour 2 up front he's had plenty of opportunities despite BZ & AJ injuries. He could have bought another striker in the Summer or played either Hitchcock or Chevanton when they were here.....

See what your saying but why then did we start the season with two up top ? We only reverted back to one up when AJ got injured first time . I assumed the only reason weve persisted with one up is because harry knows deep down the AJ's body aint up to it and that Bobby hasn't been anywhere near fit enough so has had to play the one up front system. If memory serves me right we were in for another striker after we signed charlie so that would certainly back up the theory that redknapp knew/knows we are short in that area. I think if we had two fully fit quality strikers all season we would definatly have played two up front. Time will tell i suppose and its certainly my wish for us to get someone else in who can form a more permanant partership with charlie. Its also worth bearing in mind that harry says a lot of things that people want to hear and is an expert when talking to the media for example hes hardly going to say we need two quality lads up top when we are outside a transfer window and unable to add to the squad is he? That would make the current lads feel that they wern't doing a good job. Hes been bleating on about how succesful teams play one up front because hes had no choice other than to play that way with the personell weve got. My feeling is this will chnage as/when we add more firepower. This is just my opinion of course. Perhaps he feels that hitch wasn't/isn't quite ready or isn't the type of forward to compliment charlie?? As for chevanton your guess is as good as mine as that was one of the most bizare signings i can remember for a while

Agree with you mate, need two in to at least give us the optons to nick extra points if things arn't working. Still can't quite believe this wasn't sorted in the summer but hey ho. Wasn't harry quoted the other day as saying you need four strikers to choose from? Like weve both mentined he loves to contradict himself, one minute its one up top then he needs four to choose from. I think he's always wanted four but due to our circumstances has been forced into saying that one up top is the way to go. What managers say in the press in normally a load of old ******** anyway
