What was evident yesterday was something started at Watford that went under the radar, due to the fact of no striker on the pitch. Crosses then and crosses yesterday. I mentioned this a short while ago that harry was telling his wingers to shoot. I read a recent admission from harry that the team had talked about shooting from distance. He'd also challenged our wingers to get 20 goals each this season.
There's a lot more of it happening now and goals going in, thru leagues worldwide. It would have been harry's say on this being introduced. Unfortunately at the expense of crosses this season as we have all witnessed and to charlie's detriment on being starved of service. Well there's obviously been a re-think on wingers doing it.
My general points on player orders for example, Hoillet being slated on here for cutting inside constantly and trying to shoot (not as good as Philips at it). BAE being slated for not overlapping. Green slated for always trying to roll the ball out. Hill and Dunne sitting too deep because of pace issues. (Yesterday and Watford, Dunne and Ned alternating in one playing higher up the pitch). And maybe others I haven't noticed.
It's all managers orders. If you're a special talent then you get a free role. But otherwise blame the manager for what you see the players do, not the players!
