  • Carroll could return to Spurs

BAE has been granted permission to play in the FA cup by spuds but Carroll hasn't. Going back? Personally wouldn't bother me as think he's been about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Wouldn't read too much into it as Spurs have a squad big enough to not worry about BAE not being eligible for the FA Cup

Oh how this would make me happy. He suffered a dip in form just before he got injured with the England U21's but since he's come back he's just gone from bad to worse. We never missed him yesterday and for all my sins I'd much prefer Yossi playing than Carroll.

Why would they want Carroll back?

Sherwood is the man most in the know about the Spurs youth/younger players given the work he has done with them for the last few years.
I think it would speak volumes if he recalled TC and left BAE with us

Injuries, FA cup, Europa league, league position, new style of play, players leaving in the tf window ?

Indeed, and actually even if Carroll does develop into a great players three years down the line, so what? The question we need to ask is can he do a job for us this season. And on the evidence so far the answer is "no".

                            Carroll could return to Spurs

Tom Carroll could be poised for a return to Tottenham after QPR were told they could not play the on-loan midfielder in this weekend's FA Cup third-round clash with Everton.
