More than a few in favour of his return it seems. I suggested as DOF but as manager, for me, would be fantastic. It would be the third coming, but so what? He’s still young enough, just, and if he’s happy driving 60,000 miles a year to work for Stoke he must be desperate to work in the game, despite forever telling us he doesn’t need football. Even if it didn’t work out, at least if wouldn’t be for the want of trying, and we’d all sleep a bit easier. However, let’s just give Jim his chance.

Great 1st post, but I'm not so sure on the second one.

I don't think Gerry would want the job, nor do I think he is capable of it these days. Not as a manager anyway.
    Your mum would love me...

All this talk of Gerry Francis is pretty pointless isn't it?

Let's face it even his staunchest supporters would struggle to justify a case for him returning as manager, he's been far to long out of that part of the game.

As for director of football, well you can forget that as Palidini ain't going anywhere as long as Flavio is in charge!

I would say Holloway but I think he is a decent manager with average hard working players. I don't think this current squad would suit holloways no nonsense style. I would take Warnock or Johnson as it needs a hard man to take no bull**** from our big time charlies.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

no chance of gerry...would mean flavio would have to take advice of someone who actually loves the club.......and might not like what he is told.

                WELL

well i think if gerry returned he would turn the club around,DONT FORGET UNLIKE MOST OF YOU I HAVE MET BRIATORE
AND I CAN TELL YOU HES ONE HUNDRED MILES AN HOUR knowone can tell him anything hes like napolian bonnaparte he just wants to attack everyone around him
his power is based on his incredible naievity,he justs cant understand anything except steam roller tactics
he sold blackstock just as a power thing,it was just LOOK IM GOING TO SELL OUR GREATEST STRIKER BECAUSE I WILL PURCHASE SOME ONE BETTER
but sadly briatore is deluded we found out years ago replacing a striker is the hardest thing in football
SO HOW WOULD GERRY FRANCIS DEAL WITH BRIATORE
only bernie really knows how to deal with briatore
HE JUST GIVES HIM SARCASTIC IRONIC COMMENTS ALL THE TIME
gerry will do much the same but gerry is so powerfull his incredible power will shock briatore
thats the secret briatore needs to respect his manager and when gerry starts buying bargain basement prices
                BRIATORE WILL START TO BELIEVE
half the problem with briatore hes trying to be too much hands on all the time

For Gerry to come, he'd need to run the whole show.... that would mean losing GP.

                    You still up for it?

                      er no

em not so gianni can stay and sell the club as he does so brilliantly but gianni and flav must leave the running of the club to gerry
dont forget i interveiwed gerry outside the springbok and asked him would his return be un acceptable with the directors that we have at qpr
gerry most emphatically said he would welcome any input to his team selections from gianni or anyone else for that matter
BUT THE BOTTOM LINE IS GERRY WOULD PICK EVERY TEAM HE AND HE ALONE WOULD DO THIS
gerry said the reason for him picking the team is that if the teams loses his head is on the choping block
IF GERRY RETURNED IT WOULDNT MEAN THE END OF BRIATORE OR GIANNI
THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO SIT BACK AND WATCH US SMASH TEAMS SIX NIL AGAIN
plus gerry would top five it in the prem
THE OTHER GREAT THING ABOUT FRANCIS IS HES NOT INTO GETTING PAID LOTS OF MONEY
hes already a millionair so his only motive would be to get his favourite team back in the prem

So if i collared him outside the ground one day and said i think you should play Ramage up top he would be prepared to listen to me eh (shakes head)
