That would be the best signing anyone could ever dream of and change the whole shape and way we play. I would bet my last pound on us being automatic if he turned up. Too good to be true though, its rangers, things like that dont happen to us.

Cant really moan at another couple of million extra if it gets us promoted. We need him so bad, i wouldnt moan if we paid 8 to 10 mill cos he would be the big difference we need and are all screaming out for,

Yeah i know but we nicked him didnt we, great bit of business that. We need a playmaker and long fits the bill so perfectly. If it took that to make sure we got him it would be well worth it imho.

difference is remy is on 60k per week wages. thats why the transfer fee was low.

long is on about 20k which is why his transfer value is high.

great work rate, great header of a ball and a very good finisher.

                  24 years old

i would have no problem with a 6.5 mil fee.

Would be a fc uking great signing. Well worth 6.5 mill in todays market and one less player we would need if we went up. Did someone say only worth 4mill???-clueless.

his goal against Villa was world class, sort of player we should be going for

Austin and Long would run defences to a standstill, and more importantly, score a few.

wd be a dream signing but we saw last season that WBA play hardball - v hard to negotiate with. Plus people talking about 4m are having a laugh - with that number of clubs after him and relatively low wages they can make up their own figure. He is an established Prem League striker.

Anyone know about the Watford midfielder we are also after mentioned at the bottom of the article?

That Murray at Watford also mentioned in that is great little player. Drives forward from the midfield and has an eye for goal............so we'll probably buy him and turn him into a mix of John Jenson and a crab!!!
