    Would really be a downfall!!!
given that gap, why not promote steve gallen, get rid of the loans. We'll stumble into the playoffs like we're dong now.....then who knows how we'll get on but at least fans will be behind the team.

Why don't you ask him if he wants the job?

Gallen would be a candidate in the summer if we don't get promoted.
But couldn't throw him in now.
Doesn't matter how bad we are playing, but throwing in Gallen who could be the future wouldn't do him any good at the moment.

There comes a point where enough is enough. The current situation was totally predictable, which is exactly why so many people are fvcked off - we all knew we were in a totally false position. Staying down would be a bonus if TF backed a young manager with some long term planning, part of which was sourcing Harry's successor, so its odds on that wont have happened. Which means that SG is the only immediate option. I'd let him have a go until the end of the season if he wants it. Sooner or later someone has to start planning the club's long term strategy, and an immediate return to the prem is not as important as getting rid of the old lags and bringing the youngsters through.

I agree with ya in a way as we need someone like Gallen next summer.
I would even throw him in if promoted.
But there is no way that Harry will lose his job when we still have to play 6 of the bottom 8 sides in the league and we are still in our current position.

....setting QPR up as a club that can WIN the Championship AND be competitive in the PL.

And if we can do this by bringing through academy players into the team/squad then job done.

Yes I disagree with some of Harry's tactics and negative football, but we have to remember our long list of injured key players. Sacking him at this time will not help because a lot of the signings came because of him.

Begs a bigger question of if we were to find a way of getting promoted (auto or Play off) do we keep Harry for the prem or get someone else given how dire the last 18months have been with him???

When he came I was over the moon and excused last years end of season display given what we knew was going on behind the scenes but this season the negative perfomances and how lifeless we look I now am starting to question his abilities

                    • We have been rotten to watch from day 1 of this season so the injuries are not the reason for any frustration towards Redknapp. Get rid now as we will struggle to secure a play off place with him in charge. After yesterday and the lack of urgency clearly we are in a very bad way as a team. We have a one paced defence and midfield and a keeper who has no command of his area. Austin and his goals papered over the truth and now his injured it is there to see!

                          • Been in agreement for a long time. The media darling being a good manager is a total myth and has been exposef a just a chancer who has been found out. To get into the play offs we need to get rid of him. Have a look at Whelan at Wifan he was not happy and Coyle left and now they are on a charge. Think we need to do the same
