  • Fair weather footballers

Just seen a pitch inspection at Palace on tv. What happened to football being played in the rain? Are players that precious these days? Just get on with it unless it's completely flooded.
I remember games in snow and ice, made for some great games

Too many nancy boys around these days.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

There's too much money involved these days; they think they're so precious

Not sure it's the players making the decision about whether a game gets postponed.

They're to worried the rain will wash the gell right out of their hair, plus there's nothing worse than getting wet mud under the nails...

A team like Chelsea could have over £250m worth of players out on a pitch so clubs are far more careful of their investments than in the past.

I don't think the clubs even have much say, the ref makes the decision on postponements surely?
