Good job we ain't getting him then, he'd look silly with no hair.

I read in The Mail this morning, that Toronto hope to make a formal announcement at the end of next week that he has signed for them, yet Earnshaw is unhappy after being out there for nine months and wants to return home.I still think Defoe could turn our season around as he is very creative as well as being a prolific goalscorer who would really flourish in the Championship.
Don't think we have a chance in hell if he has ideas about Brazil 2014, but if he's contemplating Toronto well maybe a small chance, or Roy's promised him a move to us would not rule him out of the squad automatically

No chance. And much as I like Defoe, that is a good thing for us. He perfectly fits the mould of most of our previous big name flops.

Defoe would be doing himself a big favour by joining us.
Going to Toronto, he's definitely off the radar as far as England goes.
But, as we all know, money talks, even to multi-millionaires who should be well beyond 'money worries.'
